Hi I'm Jose Quinones and I've been excited to start this foundation portfolio blog for a while mostly because I have so many ideas floating around in my head that I've needed somewhere to jot them down. There is one thing I know for sure, which is that I want to model my opening after the overall themes of some of my favorite movies like Fer ris Bueller's Day Off and Weekend at Bernie's but with a more modern twist. The aspect of these two movies that inspires me personally is the focus on the relationship between the two main characters which is established as a natural bond without any need for exposition or background to it. This is what first gave me an idea for having a movie centered around two friends simply wanting to have a good time. This led to me conducting research into the teen film genre.
